HOPE Scholarship

A student who is a legal resident of Georgia and graduates from high school with a “B” average in core-curriculum subjects is eligible for Georgia’s HOPE (Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally) Scholarship Program.  Funded by the Georgia lottery, it provides tuition, mandatory fees, and book allowance at a Georgia public college or university.  Georgia’s HOPE scholarship also provides $3,000 towards the cost of tuition per academic year at a Georgia private college or university.
